Nit Hungary’s announcement
“15,000 Hungarian employees may lose their jobs!
We are fighting for the EU jobs of Hungarian forwarders because some of the Western member states (Germany, France, Italy, Austria) have introduced very serious market protection measures disguised as welfare measures in order to push Hungarian forwarders out of their markets. If the EU does not act against these restrictions, as many as fifteen thousand Hungarians may lose their jobs!
On 22 March 2017, we held a press conference to call upon all stakeholders to act using the publicity of the media. Forwarders should protest jointly that is why we ask all forwarding companies and agents to do their best to make as many employees sign the PROTEST forms at the regional offices of Nit Hungary or return the completed form by mail to the address Nit Hungary 1476 Budapest 100 Pf.100 or by facsimile to the telephone number (+36-1) 264-5045 or electronically to the e-mail address email@example.com.
We will collect the PROTEST forms until 15 May 2017 and then we will call upon the European Parliament and the European Commission on behalf of all Hungarian forwarders to block the restrictions planned by certain member states because these would make it impossible for Hungarian forwarders to work.
